Massive Open Online Course Providers (MOOCs) are online courses available to anyone with a computer or phone and internet connection. They offer users a way to learn in a setting similar to an online class, but are usually loosely structured and can be accessed without paying tuition or committing to an academic program.

Website Resouces

EDX is a massive open online course provider created by Harvard and MIT. It hosts online university-level courses in a wide range of disciplines to a worldwide student body, including courses at no charge.

Coursera was founded in 2012 by Stanford University's computer science professors Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller. Offers online courses, specializations, degrees, professional and master track courses.

Khan Academy is a non-profit organization with the mission of providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere.

Udacity is a massive open online course provider with paid and free classes.
